So What Is a GU10 Bulb, Exactly?

The "G" stands for the fact that the bulb has pins, rather than a screw thread like an old fashioned Edison screw bulb. The "U" refers to the shape of those pins, which are U shaped. Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin and describes how warm or cool the light looks.
