This Sylvania Platinum RefLED GU10 bulb gives a crisp 4000K cool white (also labelled neutral white by some retailers) light at 350 lumens from just 2.2W. Unlike many budget GU10 LEDs, it's fully dimmable, so it can be used on a compatible LED dimmer circuit as well as a standard switch, and it's backed by a long 50,000 hour rated life.

How to fit it

Switch off the power at the wall or light switch before changing any bulb. If the old bulb has just been in use, let it cool for a minute or two before touching it. Twist the old GU10 bulb anticlockwise until the two pins release from the ceramic base, then pull it straight out. Line up the pins of the new Sylvania bulb with the two slots in the fitting, push in gently and twist clockwise until it locks into place. Restore power and test the light. No transformer or driver is needed — GU10 LED bulbs run directly from the UK mains supply.

Yes. This 2.2W B-rated bulb is dimmable, though best results come from an LED-compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. An old leading-edge dimmer designed for halogen can cause flickering or buzzing.

What's the difference between this and Sylvania's 2W A-rated GU10 bulb?
