Description
Stock up with this pack of 5 TCP LED GU10 Spotlight Bulbs, each giving 345 lumens of 2700K warm white light from around 4.4W, roughly a 50W halogen equivalent. With a white finish, 36° beam and a 25,000 hour rated life, it is a practical, non-dimmable choice for kitchens, hallways and multi-bulb spotlight fittings where every socket needs to match.
Key features
- Pack of 5 matched GU10 LED bulbs, white finish
- 345 lumens per bulb, 2700K warm white colour temperature
- Approx. 4.4W LED consumption, around a 50W halogen equivalent
- 36° beam angle, the standard GU10 spot spread
- Rated for 25,000 hours of use
- Non-dimmable, mains voltage (220-240V), no transformer needed
What this bulb is best for
A pack of 5 is ideal for kitchens and living rooms with multiple GU10 downlights, or for keeping matching spares on hand so every bulb in a spotlight bar stays the same brightness and warm 2700K tone as the others age and get replaced.
How to fit it
- Turn off the power at the light switch (or isolate at the consumer unit if working on the fitting).
- Let any existing bulb cool fully before handling it.
- Twist the old bulb anticlockwise a quarter turn and remove it from the GU10 fitting.
- Line up the pins of the new TCP GU10 bulb and twist clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Restore the power and test the light. GU10 LEDs run directly on mains voltage, so no transformer or separate driver is required.
Frequently asked questions
Why buy a pack of 5 rather than single bulbs?
Buying a matched pack means every bulb in a multi-socket fitting, or your spare drawer, is exactly the same brightness and colour temperature, and works out cheaper per bulb than buying singles.
What does the white finish mean on this bulb?
It refers to the outer body colour and material of the bulb rather than the light colour; this version has a white-finished body, as opposed to TCP's clear glass GU10 bulbs.
How many of these would I need for a 6-spotlight kitchen ceiling?
You would need 6 bulbs in total, so one pack of 5 plus a single extra bulb, or two packs if you want spares in reserve.
Is this bulb suitable for an enclosed downlight fitting?
TCP LED GU10 bulbs are designed for standard open GU10 downlights and spotlights; always check your specific fitting's manufacturer guidance if it is a fully enclosed or fire-rated downlight, as some enclosed fittings need bulbs specifically rated for enclosed use.
