Vitax Bonemeal 20kg

Vitax Bonemeal 20kg is the bulk size of sterilised bonemeal, for landscapers, orchards, large hedging projects and nurseries.

It releases phosphate and nitrogen slowly over a long period, which encourages strong root development as plants establish.

What to use it on

• Spring and autumn bulbs
• Herbaceous plants and borders
• Roses, shrubs and trees
• Fruit trees, fruit bushes and strawberries

What is in it

Vitax sterilised bonemeal contains 3.5% nitrogen and 15.5% phosphate (P₂O₅). The high phosphate content is what supports root growth.

How to use Vitax Bonemeal 20kg

• Before sowing or planting: 140g per m².
• Established roses, shrubs and border plants: top dress at 140g per m² in spring.
• Fruit trees and bushes: top dress at 140g per m² in autumn.

Bonemeal or Blood Fish and Bone?

Bonemeal is mainly for roots at planting time. For an all round feed that also boosts leaves, flowers and fruit, use Vitax Blood Fish and Bone 20kg.

Safety and storage

Do not use where cattle, sheep, goats or deer have access. Keep it off leaves and stems, wash your hands after use and store it dry, away from children, pets and food.
