Vitax Bonemeal 2.5kg

Vitax Bonemeal 2.5kg is the popular mid size pack of this slow release organic fertiliser, enough for a season of bulb and shrub planting.

It releases phosphate and nitrogen slowly over a long period, which encourages strong root development as plants establish.

What is in it

Vitax sterilised bonemeal contains 3.5% nitrogen and 15.5% phosphate (P₂O₅). The high phosphate content is what supports root growth.

How to use Vitax Bonemeal 2.5kg

• Before sowing or planting: 140g per m².
• Established roses, shrubs and border plants: top dress at 140g per m² in spring.
• Fruit trees and bushes: top dress at 140g per m² in autumn.

Bonemeal or Blood Fish and Bone?

Bonemeal is mainly for roots at planting time. For an all round feed that also boosts leaves, flowers and fruit, use Vitax Blood Fish and Bone 2.5kg.

Safety and storage

Do not use where cattle, sheep, goats or deer have access. Keep it off leaves and stems, wash your hands after use and store it dry, away from children, pets and food.
