This 450ml Vanish carpet shampoo cleans carpets and upholstery by hand, with no machine involved. It is a manual shampoo: you mix it with water, whip it into a foam and work it over the carpet, then vacuum once dry. It suits large areas such as hallways, stairs and doorways. It cleans, freshens and softens carpet and helps neutralise odours.

How to use Vanish carpet shampoo
- Vacuum the carpet thoroughly.
- Mix 1 part shampoo with 9 parts water, no hotter than 40°C.
- Whip the mix into a foam.
- Apply the foam evenly over the area.
- Let the carpet dry.
- Vacuum again.
Test on a small hidden area first and follow the directions on the back of the bottle.
