Description
Description
This TCP LED GU10 bulb has a white-finished body and produces a generous 345 lumens in a warm 2700K white, making it one of the brighter options in TCP's GU10 range. Running at around 4.4W (roughly a 50W halogen equivalent), it's a non-dimmable, straight swap-in for old halogen GU10 spotlights, giving a soft, homely glow that suits everyday living spaces. This listing is for a pack of 2 bulbs.
Key features
- 345 lumens per bulb
- Approx. 4.4W LED (roughly a 50W halogen equivalent)
- 2700K warm white light
- 36° beam angle, standard GU10 spot
- Non-dimmable
- Rated for around 25,000 hours of use, pack of 2
What this bulb is best for
345 lumens at 2700K is bright enough to properly light a living room, bedroom or hallway while keeping the warm, relaxed tone people expect from home lighting. It's a good choice where you want noticeably more brightness than a basic 250 lumen bulb but don't need a dimmer.
How to fit it
- Turn off the power at the switch before you start.
- If you're replacing an old bulb, let it cool down fully first.
- Twist the old bulb anticlockwise a quarter turn and pull it free.
- Push the new TCP GU10 bulb in and twist clockwise until it clicks into place.
- Restore power at the switch.
GU10 bulbs run directly on mains voltage, so there's no transformer or separate driver to fit - it's a like-for-like swap in your existing fitting.
Frequently asked questions
Is this 345 lumen TCP bulb dimmable?
No, this particular bulb is the non-dimmable version. If you want to use it with a dimmer switch, choose our TCP 345 lumen 2700K dimmable glass bulb instead, linked below.
Is 345 lumens noticeably brighter than a 250 lumen bulb?
Yes - 345 lumens is around 40% more light output than a 250 lumen bulb, which is a worthwhile step up if a room has always felt a little dim.
Is a pack of 2 enough, or should I buy more?
A 2-pack suits a small fitting such as a pair of wall lights or a single small downlight run; for a full room of four or six spotlights, you'll likely want two or three packs.
How is this different from the glass version?
This bulb has a white-finished outer body rather than an exposed glass lens - the light output and colour are the same as our glass-bodied 345 lumen bulbs, it's simply a different look for the visible part of the bulb.
