Made from strong, weather resistant aluminium, the angled slats let air pass freely in both directions while shedding wind driven rain and keeping out larger debris. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use and, unlike plastic vents, this metal vent is rated as suitable for venting gas appliances. How to Use / How to Fit

If you are replacing an existing narrow vent cover, unscrew or unclip the old cover from its frame and fit this aluminium louvre vent in its place using the same fixing holes.

If you are fitting the vent into a brand new narrow opening, chisel or drill away the mortar or timber to create a clear opening of the correct size and shape. Bed the vent onto fresh mortar and tap it flush with the surrounding surface, then point the joint around the edges to match the surrounding brickwork. Because this is a special order item, please check your opening dimensions carefully before ordering, as lead times for special order vents can be longer than for stocked sizes.
