Its advanced UV light absorbers shield timber from sun damage while the moisture vapour permeable film lets trapped water escape, giving up to 5 years of protection from weathering in a translucent satin finish. Ideal as a topcoat on exterior softwood and hardwood joinery, windows, doors and cladding, whether applied as a one coat maintenance stain over existing systems or as two coats over a Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus base stain on new or bare wood. Not recommended for decking or surfaces exposed to heavy abrasion.
