Frequently Asked Questions
What is UHU glue made of?
UHU All Purpose Adhesive is a polyvinyl acetate (PVA) based glue, carried in a solvent mix of esters and alcohols, which is why it dries fast and crystal clear.
How long does UHU glue take to dry?
Touch-dry in 60-120 seconds; full bond strength after 24 hours.
Is UHU glue safe for skin?
It isn't designed for skin contact and can irritate if left on, so wash it off promptly; if any gets on your hands, wash with warm soapy water.
Is UHU glue PVA?
Yes - its chemical base is polyvinyl acetate, similar in family to classic PVA school glue, though the solvent carrier makes it set faster and bond a wider range of materials.
