How to Use

Before you start, turn the heating off and let the radiator cool completely. Clean the surface with sugar soap or a mild detergent to remove grease, dust and old polish, then lightly key any glossy old paintwork with fine abrasive paper so the new coat has something to grip. Treat any rusty patches with a rust inhibiting treatment or metal primer, and mask off the surrounding wall, skirting and floor before you spray, working in a well ventilated room.

Shake the can thoroughly for at least a minute, and test the spray pattern on a scrap of card first. Hold the can approximately 25 to 30cm from the surface and apply in light, even sweeping passes, keeping the can moving to avoid runs. Two to three thin coats give a better, more durable finish than one heavy coat.
