How to Use
- Tear a sack from the roll and open it out fully before filling
- Fill with rubble, bricks, soil or garden waste, keeping to around two thirds full for a weight you can safely lift
- Gather the top and tie securely with string, tape or a cable tie
- Take filled sacks to your local household waste recycling centre, subject to your council's rules on DIY rubble and hardcore

What are rubble sacks made of?
Most rubble sacks are made from extra thick polythene, measured in micron. These are 60 micron, thicker than a standard rubble sack, for extra resistance against sharp, dense debris like bricks and hardcore.
How big is a rubble sack?
Our rubble sacks are around 30 to 32 litres, measuring roughly 51 x 76cm laid flat and expanding to around 60 to 77cm tall once filled, enough for roughly one wheelbarrow load.
What weight can go in a rubble sack?
Stick to inert building and garden waste such as rubble, bricks, hardcore, soil, stone and tiles, and avoid overfilling. Fill to around two thirds full and keep the total weight to around 20 to 25kg so it stays safe to lift alone.
