At 2 inches wide with an angled tip, the Cub XL is designed for cutting in around trim, window frames, door edges and other tight corners where precision matters more than coverage area. The short handle sits comfortably in the palm, giving a steadier line when working close to a surface or inside cupboards, alcoves and other confined spaces.
How to Use
- Dip the brush about a third of the way into the paint, then tap off the excess against the side of the container.
- Hold the brush like a pencil for fine control when cutting in along edges and corners.
- Use the angled tip to follow straight lines against trim, skirting or window frames.
- Work in short, controlled strokes and reload often rather than overloading the brush.
- Clean with water for water based paint or the correct solvent for oil based paint, then reshape the tip and let it dry flat or hanging.
