This 9 inch sleeve has a 1 inch nap, a thick pile built for semi-rough to extra rough surfaces such as textured masonry, stucco, artex ceilings, pebbledash and rough render. The deeper pile carries more paint into the texture of the surface, so fewer passes are needed to get full coverage. The tapered end helps stop tram lines forming as you roll.

Purdy's P-X sleeves use a wider 1.75 inch core than standard Colossus sleeves. How to Use

• Load the roller fully in a paint tray, working the fabric to release trapped air, then remove excess paint on the ribbed section.
• Apply in overlapping W shaped strokes, working the paint well into textured or rough surfaces.
• Clean with water for latex paint or the appropriate solvent for oil based paint, then leave to dry fully before storing.
