Built by Purdy, part of Sherwin-Williams, the frame uses a wire cage and a cam lock lever so one frame can cover several sleeve widths instead of buying a separate frame for each size.
This frame suits large flat areas such as walls, ceilings, fences and other big surfaces, especially for anyone who wants a single frame that works across their whole range of roller sleeves rather than switching frames between jobs.
How to Use
- Unlock the cam lever and slide the frame to match the width of your roller sleeve, anywhere from 12 to 18 inch.
- Snap the lever shut to lock the wire cage at that size.
- Push the roller sleeve onto the cage until it sits securely and spins freely.
- Thread an extension pole onto the handle end for ceilings and higher walls, or use the handle alone for closer work.
- Load the roller from a paint tray and apply paint using even, overlapping strokes.
- Wash the frame in water, or the correct solvent for oil based paint, after use and let it dry fully before storing.
